Knox in your church
So how do you get a Knox Fellowship team to your church? It’s really a simple process. Contact the national Knox Fellowship office in Tampa, Florida to schedule a presentation to your church leadership. After the presentation, your church leadership will discuss the event calendar with the members of the Knox Fellowship leadership. Knox Fellowship events have proven over and over again that evangelism and discipleship is one of the keys to the health and growth of a church. There are three kinds of weekend events with many variations to meet the local requirements.
Taste And See… is an introduction
An informal but thorough introduction to Knox is accomplished through two or more of the following over the course of a weekend: a Knox Fellowship lead minister fills the pulpit as guest speaker, addresses an adult education group, addresses the youth group, attends a meeting of the church board or meets with elders informally, meets with the Missions or Evangelism committee or meets with the pastor alone or in a small group.
Adventure In Faith… explores our responsiblity
A Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday morning occasion for the whole congregation wherein the focus is on God’s Vision for His Church in today’s world. The result is that each Christian will see herself or himself as having a significant role in reaching out to the secular world about them.
Map The Mission… charts the congregational course
A retreat type experience held either away from the church building or within it for leaders or the entire congregation wherein the mission of the church is reviewed and for the next year, goals are identified for evangelism and discipleship that are specific, measurable, attainable, and realistic and time oriented. Strategies to attain the goals are identified and leadership is chosen which with the help of Knox Fellowship will be responsible to meet the goals.
Music and Worship… focuses on Jesus
Music is the window through which a vast portion of the world today views the church. It is an integral part of worship and effective evangelistic ministry. Knox Fellowship believes that music and worship, while always expressing the majesty and glory of God and all creation, should also fit the culture of those whom a church is trying to reach with the life transforming power of the Gospel.
Knox Fellowship is privileged to make the outstanding musicians of its staff available to churches and multiple bodies of churches for special events such as workshops and concerts. These musicians play a vital role in all of the ministry activities of Knox Fellowship both nationally and internationally.
If you would like to contact and/or schedule a musical event please contact the Knox Fellowship office.
